The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991 to provide opportunities for career-oriented women to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life. The DC Metro Chapter of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association has been in existence since 1992, and is growing strong! We have close to 500 members, offer 21 leagues, a full complement of weekend golf events, and more! We organize both social and golf activities during the winter months for all levels.
Membership in the national LPGA Amateur Golf Association includes membership in the local chapter of your choice, which in this case is the DC Metro Chapter. Membership periods are annual from the date that you join. There are four levels of LPGA Amateur Golf Association memberships: Classic, Young Professional, Senior and Executive.

How Can Expired Members Renew?
Members have 3 months to renew online before they are considered lapsed and are locked out of the database for renewal purposes. After 3 months, you will need to complete a renewal form and return it by fax or mail so that you can be reactivated in the database.
However, within that 3 month window, if members are even one day past their renewal date they will not be able to Log into the Members Only area – which includes the Member Clubhouse and the handicap system. If you are unable to log into the Member Clubhouse, you not have access to Member Only Chapter activities like leagues and Chapter Events.
To renew, members in the 3 month window must go to the main LPGA Amateur Golf Association website at http://lpgaamateurs.com/ and sign in (upper right corner) using their password.
That takes them to the page with the “Membership Renewal” button.
What Is The Best Way To Ensure Member Privacy?
More and more LPGA Amateur Golf Association members are concerned about having their personal contact information appear online. LPGA Amateurs respects that, and has a couple of options for members to have control of what they want to appear.
The best option to protect personal information is for members to log into the Member Clubhouse. Follow the steps below to set your privacy settings.
- Select the My Profile menu option.
- Select My Settings.
- Select Privacy from the pull down to the right of your photo.
- Select Yes to be included in the member directory and community rosters.
- On the Privacy page you can select what group (My Contacts, Members Only, Public or Only Me) can see different categories of information including your email address, phone number, address, etc.
There are other settings you can configure including what types of emails you receive and, for general emails, if you want them directed to an email address other than your primary LPGA Amateur Golf Association email address.
Do not select No to not be included in the member directory and community rosters. This option will block the member from being able to log in to the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Member Clubhouse and the Handicap Service. The Member Clubhouse is the “portal” to all Members Only services and events including chapter leagues and member only events and LPGA Amateur Golf Association member benefits. We strongly recommend that you do not select this option.
If you previously selected No to not be included in the member directory and community rosters, follow the five steps above.
